Poipu Beach Wedding

I love when someone close to the bride and groom, like a friend or a family member preforms the ceremony. It becomes personal, usually with laughs and tears as the family member shares stories about the couple. Liane and Kevin were married by her brother. The ceremony included quotes from their favorite sitcoms or movies that were words of advice about love.
This couple shared their vows on beautiful Keoneloa Bay in Poipu among those that loved them. In the words of Ted Mosby, “But love doesn’t make sense. You can’t logic your way into or out of it. Love is totally nonsensical. But we have to keep doing it, or else we’re lost and love is dead and humanity should just pack it in. Because love is the best thing we do.”

Poipu Beach Wedding

When the weather is rainy just about everywhere else on the island, there is no place like Poipu.   Evan & Mary Jo were treated to dry skies and an amazing sunset.  I loved that the sailboat was perfectly sitatuated for the sunset shots.  🙂

Poipu Beach Wedding

It was perfect weather for this couple to say their wedding vows in Poipu.  We had turtles playing in the waves behind them  and whales jumping around.  Vicki was stunning.  I loved her dress.   Congratulations to this beautiful couple.  Wishing you a lifetime of happiness.

Thank you  Pastor Kilborn for the heartfelt ceremony and  Dianne from White Orchid bridal services for hair and make-up.  Remember John… Vicki can buy whatever she wants    🙂
